Plushies
What to know one of the first things to crochet when you are bored? Plushies are one of the best crochet items because you can create almost anything! Whether it be animals, foods, etc …
Not to mention the yarn for plushies tends to be cheap and inexpensive to your wallet.
Plush yarn can come in many different colors and sizes, making it easier to crochet the things you want.
You can purchase plush yarn by clicking here, and searching through a range of colors for your project.
Hair ties
These popular crochet items can be found in retail stores all over the world. But you can make it in less than 5 minutes with a hair tie and yarn!
These are great to crochet because of the amount of time it takes and the designs you can make.
As you know with crochet, you can make them in different stitch designs/colors.
Crochet headbands
These are a personal favorite when making crochet clothes. Headbands can be given as personal gifts to yourself, to others, or to level up your skills!
Just like hair ties, these crochet headbands do not take long to create. If you have a small crochet business, you can start selling them to make a profit!
One of my favorite pieces of yarn to crochet a headband is Feel Like Butta yarn! It’s super soft, durable, and a range of colors! Although, in the picture I used Caron One Pound Yarn for the material. Which is another alternative for somewhat soft and non-itchy yarn.
Crochet Socks
This is a MUST when you start crocheting. Not only are crochet socks perfect for winter, but can come in different designs.
The great thing about crochet socks is that you can find the perfect yarn and make them as soft as you want.
You can make thigh-high/knee-high socks or fuzzy socks for around the house.
You can use fuzzy yarn to create your crochet socks or One Pound Caron Yarn for other material options. to create your crochet fuzzy socks.
Crochet Pillow Cases
The majority of us have many pillows in our homes that may need a makeover. Although you don’t need to crochet 8 pillowcases, you can put it as a major project to complete.
You can create pillowcases through granny squares, regular double crochet stitches, multi-color, etc.
Water bottle holder
You can create a water bottle holder out of yarn. You can create a strap out of it to hang on to with your hand or snap onto a bag.
For the project picture above, I used Feel Like Butta Yarn! Which you can probably tell by now is a top yarn piece in my collection.
Crochet Bag
You can make almost anything out of crochet. This includes creating a crochet bag, where you can carry school books, your wallet, or even groceries!
You can make them in different shapes, colors, and designs!
Plant holders
Got plants? Create a cute crochet holder for them to sit in and hang on your porch/inside your home.
Although I am not a big plant person, it is a beautiful decor item to bring more life to the home by creating that holder.
Baby clothes
You never know when someone is expecting! And what’s better than some handmade baby clothes (hats, booties, etc) to gift to the mother and baby?
Adult clothes
Umm, have you made something for yourself recently? Let’s start with some clothes to prepare for the season!
If it’s one thing I love to create is beautiful clothing to wear outside (specifically for the winter cold days)
This post was all about what to crochet when you are bored.
